Math summer packets

For the 2017-2018 school year the Oxford High School Math Department has opted to have the Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus Summer Math Packets completed online.  You will be completing the pack on Google Forms, and we ask that you try to keep calculator usage to a minimum during completion and instead use a paper and pencil for work.  When the pack is completed, it will be automatically scored and returned to your teacher.  This will count as a grade when you return to school in the fall.  Note:  If you are taking an AP class or calculus, you will receive a copy of the summer pack from your math teacher.

There are two ways to access the online math packets, either through the OHS website or through Google Classroom.

To access the online math packet from Google Classroom you must first join the Classroom for your graduation class if you have not already done so.  In order to do this you should:

1.      Go to

2.     You must log-in using your Oxford Public Schools e-mail or you will not be able to access the packs

3.     Join using the following codes:

a.     Class of 2021 - 7esgkal

b.     Class of 2020 - wmlb33g

c.     Class of 2019 - z76mzbv

d.     Class of 2018 – 7y8s8

Once you have joined the class, the link for the various summer math packs will be available in the stream.  You should only complete the pack for the class you are entering in the fall of 2017, even though multiple summer packets may be available.  If you are taking multiple math classes in the 2017-2018 school year, you must complete all applicable summer packets. For your convenience, the direct links are also listed below:

·     For students entering Algebra 1:

·     For students entering Geometry:

·     For students entering Algebra 2:

·     For students entering Pre-Calculus:

Instructions for completion:

1.     You must complete ALL problems BEFORE the first day of school in order to receive full credit.  Many problems have videos attached if you are unsure how to complete a particular problem.  You may also watch videos at for any additional guidance you may need.

2.     You may complete the assignment in multiple sittings, however, it is important to hit SUBMIT at the end of each session or your answers will not be saved.  When you log back in to continue working, the answers that you already completed will be there.

3.     Please complete work on a separate piece of paper but record all final answers online.

We hope that this move to online summer packs will assist students in completing them at their leisure throughout the summer.  If you have any questions regarding the summer pack or are having difficulty logging on, please contact me by email at the address listed below.
